Have you heard that drinking moderately is an option to reduce all possible risks of alcohol intake? Although those even moderate amounts of drinking can elevate one’s blood pressure that can result to hypertension according to the recent research.
To avoid having high blood pressure or hypertension it is advised to reduce their drinking session to those who regular or heavy drinkers according to British researchers. It was found that presence of increasing blood pressure even among moderate drinkers as compared to those who drink in small amounts or not at all (abstainers).
Having symptoms such as flushing of the face, nausea and vomiting, drowsiness, headache and other unpleasant symptoms are usually seen among Asian populations, genetic mutation or sensitivity to alcoholic beverages. Comparing them to those who habitually drink, the former has lower blood pressure or hypotension.
Occasional drinking may in some way be not bad, but definitely there is the danger that this may lead to habitual drinking. Consumption of alcohol is a serious issue why most people who even drink in moderation may suffer from having high blood pressure according to Sarah Lewis, researcher at the University of Bristol's Department of Social Medicine, and one of the writers in the recent report published in the Public Library of Science journal PLoS Medicine.
Yearly, millions are diagnosed with high blood pressure or hypertension due to consumption of alcohol. Once you have it, it is a sign that something is wrong in your body.Either because of your lifestyle or physical disorder in your body systems. As this "silent killer" disease progresses, this may lead to complications like cerebro vascular disease or stroke, heart problems, renal failure, etc.
The rule of thumb on alcohol drinking is never to drink at all if don't like to have high blood pressure. Don't wait for any signs and symptoms and a medical examination to let you know that you have a hypertension. To be healthy is not merely drinking in moderation. A little of something done habitually contributes to the greater whole.
Think many times, every time there is an opportunity to drink the possible consequences that may happen once your body has taken in alcohol. It is always your choice. If you want to stay fit, refrain from drinking or be prepared to all possibilities that may happen.
